The Pharmacy Technician's Pocket Drug Reference (Apha Pharmacy Tehcnician Training Series) Review

I work in a fairly large hospital pharmacy and was hoping for
a referance I could pick and use at a moment's notice. In the
couple of months I've been carrying this book around it has never
once been of any use to me.

This guide's area of speciality is aimed at the top 200 most prescribed drugs in a retail setting, an area where most experianced technicians really don't need much help. It is particulary light in the area of injectable medications used in a hospital setting.

The print is a little larger than I'd like. A lot more information or item listings could have been included if a smaller font size had been used.

For newly minted technicians working in a retail setting this book is probably worth the expense. I'm still looking for something more suitable.
