As a medical illustrator, Iwas working on an illustration for the disease, Dupuytren's syndrome. The best book I found was the one by Martin Dunitz, Dupuytren's Disease. Superbly illustrated by Leon Dorn, the book givesa brief history of the disease, and how it was treated, to a fairly up to date account as to how it is dealt with now. Although there are now newer treatments available, ( the book was published in 2000), with well written text, great photos of before and after treatment , as well as wonderful line drawings that show hand anatomy and how the pathology disables the patient, this book is a great addition to an artists library.
