(More customer reviews)I'm a Neurologist currently training in the field of movement disorders. I think this is an excellent book for anybody dealing with this group of patients. The book is very well organized and explanations are concise, clear and didactic. Its main strength is how it helps you with the differential diagnosis by using a symptom guided approach. It provides many very useful tables which allow you to keep in mind common and uncommon conditions when facing an unusual patient. It also includes practical information regarding diagnostic tests and treatment (different options, dosages, common side effects). I was amazed at the vast amount of information contained in such a small book. The DVD with patient videos, although a little bit short, is a great extra. The test is also very coherent, probably reflecting that it is the work of very few authors. In summary I would say it covers everything you need to know to work in a Movement Disorders clinic and a little bit more... And you can carry it in your pocket!
