(More customer reviews)I am a diabetes educator and this is the book I recommend to all the parents of a child that has diabetes. When a child is first diagnosed with diabetes the parents are overwhelmed with information and do not remember everything the nurse or doctor tells them and I find that this book gives all the information in a nut shell. It will also help answer the everyday questions of What "if". It is a excellent resource and gives very good examples of what the bloodsugar should be for each age, how much food to give for exercise, the action of insulin how to treat low blood sugar and what to do on days that your child is sick.etc. It gives pretty much all the information you need.
