(More customer reviews)I am a director of a veterinary technology program and this is a required text.It outlines the "how-to-do" of procedures as simple as cephalic venipuncture to complicated procedures such as gastrotomy tubeplacement. The value of this book lies in the fact that it lists everysupply or piece of equipment you will need to perform a procedure and thenwalks you through it step by step. The illustrations are awesome.Thisbook would be a valuable reference for a practitioner or technician whowants to perform a procedure for the first time or needs a refresher on theprocedure. The inclusion of rabbits to this edition is a welcome addition asit outlines procedures likely performed in practice.
