(More customer reviews)Overall this is an excellent little reference book to take along in clinical rounds.It will fit into your lab coat with no problems. Like it states it is intended for the Radiology Resident or the C.T. Technologist with some or little background on the basic principles. I had the other CT Technologist review this book at my site and they were in accord with having the preliminary background to apply and understand the theory. I would not recommend this book as an introductory level book unless you have a strong foundation in Computed Tomography. It is an excellent reference to have if you are working in the CT department and covers all aspects of this modality with an outstanding job in reviewing protocols. The step by step name does hold up to its title but I was hoping it would have done a better job explaining a CT pitch number with the new generation of multi-slice scanners. The CD-Rom is in a powerpoint presentation format and reviews instead of explaining the theory behind the subject.It will assist the technologist during examinations but will not replace the basic review books out in the field. This is why I gave it only three stars.
