A great debt is owed to SAGES for the publication of this book. There is no other resource quite like it. It truly is "the bible" for anyone who performs laparoscopic surgery. Although there will always be different nuances in surgical technique, this is a wonderful starting point for begining laparoscopists.
Heavy on technical information; light on pictures.

APHA's Complete Review For Pharmacy Review

APHA's Complete Review For Pharmacy
Average Reviews:

From my own experience, the best review you can get for NAPLEX is one by KAPLAN, very straight to the point and very clear. APHA is a good review as well, it has up to date information and tables (with Brand names) summarizing important points, for me it was much better than CPR by Shargel; which was too much comprehensive ,boring, and information needs to be updated, i.e. even though I had the 2005 version, it has many missing new drugs which you will be asked about in NAPLEX. After you go through a review that you like, make sure to go through Appelton and Lange Q&A's, it helps wrappingup any points that you missed, make sure you understand the concept from the answer to the question not just memorizing the answer to the question. I personally found many questions in the NAPLEX directly related to others in the Appelton, many friends of mine said the same so I recommend it. Also, do not ever buy "NAPLEX Secrets" Study Guide (by Morrison Media LLC), it is a big lie! My friend bought it and it was not worth a penny!. Finally, make sure you study by heart the top dispensed 300 drugs in retail/hospital.

I found the book to be most informative relative to the fundementals of Engine tuning and explained the major components and their functionality in a simple, easily understood way. Highly recommend for new or medium level tuners, or even just "enquiring minds" who want to know how the technology works. It leaves you with a strong foundation to build on.

Product Description:
As tools for tuning modern engines have become more powerful and sophisticated in recent years, the need for in-depth knowledge of engine management systems and tuning techniques has grown. Tuning engines can be a mysterious art, all engines need a precise balance of fuel, air, and timing in order to reach their true performance potential. This book explains how the EFI system determines engine operation and how the calibrator can change the controlling parameters to optimize actual engine performance. Engine Management: Advanced Tuning takes engine-tuning techniques to the next level. It is a must-have for tuners and calibrators and a valuable resource for anyone who wants to make horsepower with a fuel-injected, electronically controlled engine. Author Greg Banish is a calibration engineer with extensive aftermarket performance calibration experience. He has a BSME from GMI Engineering and Management Institute (Kettering University). With over a thousand unique calibrations performed over five years, he has worked with enthusiasts and OEMs alike to improve the performance and driving behavior of a wide range of vehicles.
